Roger Joseph Martin

Roger J. Martin of Nackawic passed away August 30, 2010 at his home. Born in 1960 at Campbellton, NB, he was a son of Lauza (Martel) Martin and the late Benoit Martin. Roger enjoyed playing ball, hockey and badminton and spending time with his family and friends.

Roger is survived by his mother, Lauza Martin (Don Lavigne), Nackawic; two children, Monica Martin (Timothy Tilma) and Jérémie Martin (Brittany Peters), both of Kingston, ON; the mother of his children, Suzie Jean, Kingston, ON; two grandchildren, Caedyn Tilma and Caileigh Tilma; two sisters, Lynn Martin (Jéan Lemay) and Linda Martin, both of Drummondville, PQ; four brothers, Gerard Martin (Michelle), Grand Prairie, AB, Henri Martin (Amy), Fredericton, Jéan Martin (Melanie), Moncton and Denis Martin (Gloria), Nackawic; his friend, Peggy Caverhill; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, Benoit Martin in 2000, a brother, Robert Martin in 1992 and a nephew, Whylie Martin in 2002.

Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Simon and St. Jude Catholic Church, Nackawic on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Father John Keoughan officiating.
